Audio/Video Production Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Conceptualize, plan, and produce audio and video content according to client briefs, project requirements, or organizational objectives. This may include commercials, promotional videos, instructional videos, podcasts, webinars, and more.

• Scriptwriting and Storyboarding: Develop scripts, storyboards, and outlines for audio and video productions, ensuring clarity, coherence, and alignment with the intended message or narrative.

• Pre-production: Coordinate pre-production activities such as casting, location scouting, set design, and scheduling. Prepare equipment, props, and materials needed for recording sessions.

• Recording and Filming: Operate audio and video recording equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and related accessories. Capture high-quality audio and video footage in studio or on location, ensuring proper framing, composition, lighting, and sound quality.

• Editing and Post-production: Edit raw footage and audio recordings using professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer. Add visual effects, transitions, graphics, animations, and sound effects to enhance the overall quality and appeal of the content.

• Audio Mixing and Mastering: Mix and master audio tracks to achieve balanced sound levels, clarity, and consistency. Enhance audio quality through noise reduction, equalization, compression, and other audio processing techniques.

• Color Grading: Perform color correction and color grading to achieve the desired look and feel for video content. Adjust contrast, brightness, saturation, and color balance to enhance visual appeal and maintain consistency across scenes.

• Post-production Sound Design: Create and incorporate background music, voiceovers, sound effects, and other audio elements to enhance the auditory experience and convey the intended mood or atmosphere.

• Quality Assurance: Review and refine audio and video content to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications. Make revisions as necessary based on feedback from clients, stakeholders, or supervisors.

• File Management and Distribution: Organize project files, media assets, and deliverables in a structured manner. Prepare and distribute final audio and video files in appropriate formats for various platforms and channels, including web, social media, broadcast, and streaming services.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia Design, Broadcasting, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proficiency in audio and video production techniques, equipment, and software tools.

• Strong creative vision, storytelling skills, and attention to detail.

• Experience with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.

• Knowledge of audio editing software such as Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or Logic Pro.

• Familiarity with color grading software such as DaVinci Resolve or Adobe SpeedGrade.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, techniques, and trends in audio and video production.

• A portfolio showcasing previous audio and video projects, demonstrating creativity, technical proficiency, and storytelling ability.
